Point Isabel Regional Shoreline offers open bay views and paths along Richmond’s waterfront.

Its broad grassland and shoreline setting are well known for dog walking, while connections with the Bay Trail allow a longer waterside outing.
The photograph shows the shoreline during an earlier visit. Off-leash access is subject to district rules and reliable control, with different requirements around sensitive areas and other users. Check current signs before entering the shoreline with a dog, and keep wildlife undisturbed. Tides, wind and weather affect conditions, so use established routes and confirm current access and the facilities suitable for your group before travelling.
