Great Stoneface Park combines natural rock outcrops with a quiet neighborhood lawn in Berkeley’s Northbrae area.

Short paths, shaded seating and the distinctive boulders make this compact public landscape suitable for a brief outdoor visit.
The photograph shows the rocks during an earlier visit. Scrambling involves exposed, uneven surfaces; choose activities appropriate to your abilities and respect posted rules. Keep dogs leashed, leave plants undisturbed and use public approaches without crossing neighboring properties. Street parking is limited, so check current city notices and the entrance suitable for your group before travelling.
