Carolands preserves a grand early-twentieth-century château and landscaped estate in Hillsborough.

Curator-led interpretation connects the house’s architecture with the lives and domestic arrangements of its former residents.
Visits are by confirmed reservation only; this is not an estate for walk-in exploration. The foundation currently offers limited small tours, with age requirements and substantial standing and stairs. Check the current booking page and arrange accessibility needs directly before reserving. The photograph shows the house and garden exterior rather than a current tour. Entry requires the operator’s specified confirmation and identification.
