Golden Gardens Park combines a Puget Sound beach with wetlands, wooded slopes and recreation space in Seattle’s Ballard area.

Shoreline views and paths through contrasting habitats make it suitable for a brief waterside stop or a longer outdoor outing.
Vehicle gates and general grounds access follow different schedules, while volleyball courts and picnic facilities have separate reservation arrangements. Check current seasonal fire rules and any burn bans. Dogs are restricted to permitted areas and are not allowed on the beach or children’s play spaces. Stay on designated routes around wetland habitat.
Visitor details reviewed October 27, 2026. Consult primary place information for background, and confirm current access and operating arrangements before visiting. View on OpenStreetMap.
