Old Poway Park combines a landscaped public park with a historic village and railway setting.
Buildings, interpretation and the railroad connect an outdoor visit with the city’s earlier agricultural and transport history.
Plan around the current calendar if a train ride, museum visit or organized demonstration is important. These experiences follow separate schedules from ordinary park access. The photograph shows a small railway speeder and passenger carriage, not a promise that that vehicle operates on every visit. Use designated paths and keep clear of railway equipment except during authorized boarding.
