Phillips Park Zoo offers an introduction to native North American wildlife within Aurora's larger Phillips Park.

Its compact grounds make it possible to spend time observing individual animals without planning a full-day zoo outing. The entrance photograph shows the established zoo setting within the park.
Check current opening days before arriving: the zoo is closed on Wednesdays and uses shorter hours during the cooler season. Exhibit availability can change with animal-care needs. Follow staff guidance and posted rules, and confirm separately whether nearby visitor-center displays are open.
