Seaside Park stretches along Bridgeport's Long Island Sound waterfront, combining open recreation space with shoreline views.

Its paths and broad coastal setting make it useful for a walk at several different scales. The photograph shows the Fayerweather lighthouse area at the park's western end rather than a typical central beach entrance.
Check current city parking-sticker and day-pass requirements, including the arrangements for nonresidents. Seasonal swimming facilities and lifeguard service differ from ordinary park access. Follow posted shore and breakwater conditions, and take care on uneven or slippery surfaces near the lighthouse approach.
