Stewart Park opens onto the southern shore of Cayuga Lake in Ithaca.

Broad waterside views, recreation spaces and historic park buildings make it a place to appreciate the city’s relationship with the Finger Lakes.
Use the city’s current park information to check facilities and any event reservations. The lakefront setting is suited to a walk or picnic, but it does not imply permission to swim or launch any craft from every part of the shore. The photograph shows an open lakefront area. Respect wildlife and reserved spaces, and check seasonal restroom availability before planning a longer visit.
