Trevitt’s Addition Historic District preserves an older area of The Dalles associated with the town’s development in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Victorian, revival and later American architectural influences contribute to its varied streetscape. The photograph shows the actual Carey-Wall houses within the district.
Use National Register boundaries and current city maps to plan an exterior walk on public sidewalks. Houses, businesses and other occupied properties have their own access arrangements. Historic designation grants no general admission to interiors, porches or gardens. Respect residents, keep entrances and driveways clear and check pedestrian routes before combining the district with other independently operated historic attractions.
