Delano’s 225 Sycamore apartments collect water, sewer and trash bills with rent and quote assigned garage parking separately. The Hub on South Sycamore connects the area with downtown and College Hill, while Advanced Learning Library offers Sunday computer and printing access. West Douglas has local shops, including Phil’s Farm’s meat-and-egg shop.
Apartments and monthly bills at 225 Sycamore
225 Sycamore, at 225 North Sycamore Street, publishes studio, one-, two- and four-bedroom layouts. Studio plans are 448 or 565 square feet; listed two-bedroom layouts range from 999 to 1,508 square feet.
The operator says water, sewer and trash are billed with rent each month. Residents handle electricity, cable and internet separately. Garage spaces are assigned, with parking rates and availability supplied by the leasing office; “billed with rent” does not establish that a utility or garage charge is included in the advertised base rent.
The Hub and the free College Hill route
The Hub is at 207 South Sycamore. Route 24 connects this Delano interchange with downtown, Douglas Avenue and College Hill. The city’s August 14, 2026 service alert says the former Q-Line became Route 24 and remains free until further notice.
The August timetable lists hourly weekday and Saturday service, with no Sunday or holiday service. Weekday operation runs 6 a.m.–6:52 p.m.; Saturday runs 7 a.m.–5:52 p.m. The timetable gives departure times at individual stops.
Resident bike storage and Greenway access
225 Sycamore advertises a bike storage and repair shop for residents, plus direct access to Delano Greenway. Its amenity list also includes EV charging stations and a garage.
Meat and eggs on West Douglas
Phil’s Farm lists its Delano shop at 1711 West Douglas Avenue, with meat products and farm-raised eggs. The published Delano hours are 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Tuesday–Friday and 8 a.m.–1 p.m. Saturday, checked October 19, 2026. The shop’s phone number is 316-609-3273.
Sunday library access on West 2nd
Advanced Learning Library at 711 West 2nd Street lists public computers, mobile printing, Wi-Fi, collaboration rooms and a drive-up window. Its Sunday building hours are 1–5 p.m., checked October 19, 2026.
The second-floor historical research pavilion follows a separate schedule and is closed on Sundays. The building’s Sunday opening supports a printing or computer visit, but not a Sunday visit to those special collections.
