About Elmwood Bryant
Elmwood Bryant has apartments along Bryant Street and shops on Elmwood Avenue. Annex advertises elevators and in-unit laundry; Route 20 links Elmwood with Downtown, while Crane Branch and Lexington Co-op provide services farther north along the corridor.
Annex lists elevators, in-unit laundry and included water
Annex Apartments, at 245 Bryant Street, lists elevators, keyless entry, in-unit washers and dryers, central air conditioning and private-lock bicycle storage. Water, sewer and trash are included in its advertised amenity package; furnished apartments are available in selected units.
The neighborhood photo shows a different property: Bryant Place Apartments at 334–346 Bryant Street, photographed in February 2022. Its two four-story brick buildings illustrate the older apartment stock farther along Bryant. Annex’s published amenities apply to Annex, rather than to the buildings shown in that photo.
Elmwood groceries include a late-opening co-op and a produce incentive
Price Rite is at 250 Elmwood Avenue near North Street, while Lexington Co-op is farther north at 807 Elmwood. The co-op posts daily hours of 7 a.m.–11 p.m., providing a late-evening grocery option along the corridor.
Lexington Co-op’s Double Up Food Bucks program is available to enrolled SNAP participants. Spending $1 on eligible fresh produce earns $1 for a later produce purchase, up to $20 earned per day. Enrollment takes place in either co-op store; earned benefits expire after one year. The credit is for eligible produce, rather than the whole grocery basket.
Crane Branch lists two bookable rooms and accessibility limits
Crane Branch is at 633 Elmwood Avenue, at Highland between Lexington and West Ferry. The branch lists two meeting or study rooms for small groups or individuals. Room inquiries go to 716-883-6651, and the branch links its room-use policy from its own page.
Its posted regular schedule runs noon–8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with Sunday closure. The branch lists wheelchair access with exceptions for the auditorium and restrooms.
Route 20 connects Elmwood with Downtown; MetGo caps repeat trips
NFTA’s Route 20 links the Elmwood corridor with Downtown Buffalo and continues north toward Kenmore and Orchard Loop via Sheridan and Delaware. The schedule effective August 30, 2026 includes Elmwood/North and Elmwood/Delavan timepoints, with inbound trips ending at South Division and Washington.
NFTA lists a $2 regular single-ride fare. MetGo users stop paying after $5 in a day, $25 in a week or $75 in a calendar month. Cash bus fares remain single-ride payments and do not earn those caps, so repeated errands or a bus-and-rail journey can cost differently depending on how the fare is paid.
