Coolidge Reservation protects a coastal estate landscape in Manchester-by-the-Sea.

Woodland, pond scenery and the open Ocean Lawn offer different perspectives on the Cape Ann shoreline.
Choose a route from the Trustees’ current map and check access notices and property rules before arrival. The photograph shows an earlier pond-side view rather than every coastal viewpoint. The former mansion no longer stands, so plan around the landscape rather than a house tour. Keep to public paths, respect sensitive habitat and use only designated access points along the shore.
