Marblehead Light
- Landmark
- Regional draw
- Marblehead Town
Marblehead Light rises above Chandler Hovey Park on Marblehead Neck, using an unusual open metal framework rather than a solid masonry tower.

The surrounding headland provides views across the harbor and a setting that makes the lighthouse’s role in local navigation easy to appreciate.
Plan for exterior viewing from permitted park areas and check municipal notices before travelling. The lighthouse is an active maritime structure, so a park visit should not be treated as a promise of a tower climb. The photograph shows the metal lighthouse itself, with the harbor and headland forming the wider setting.
