Franceschi Park occupies the former home grounds of botanist Francesco Franceschi above Santa Barbara.

A botanical collection, walking paths and views across the city give the hillside landscape a distinctive horticultural character.
The photograph shows the actual park entrance and planting. Consult current city notices, particularly updates on the Franceschi House project, before setting out. The house itself has separate access from the public grounds. Paths traverse a hillside, so choose a route suited to your group and keep dogs leashed. The parking lot is locked each night; return before the posted closing time.
