Six Sisters–Lawn Way Historic District preserves a recognizable group of seaside cottages in Capitola Village.

The nearly matching beach-facing homes and buildings along Lawn Way recall the community’s development as a coastal resort around the turn of the twentieth century.
The photograph shows the actual Six Sisters cottages along the beachfront. View the architecture from public streets and the promenade, keeping residential and rental entrances clear. The cottages are occupied properties rather than a walk-through museum. Individual accommodations have separate bookings. Historic status does not authorize access to porches or interiors, and event or coastal conditions can affect nearby routes.
