Tempe Beach Park provides public recreation space beside Tempe Town Lake near the downtown area.

Paths, lawns, and event space connect the park with the wider waterfront, making it a convenient starting point for a lakeside walk. Despite its name, ordinary park access does not imply that lake swimming is allowed.
Check current park and event notices before arriving, since festivals and setup can change access to lawns and paths. Use designated parking and share routes with other users. Water recreation follows the lake's separate rules and operator arrangements, and hot weather calls for water and sun protection.
Visitor details reviewed October 18, 2026. Check official visitor information for current access, admission, and operating arrangements. View on OpenStreetMap.
