Alvarado Park preserves a historic recreation landscape at the northern end of Wildcat Canyon Regional Park in Richmond, California.

Depression-era stonework, a creek crossing and picnic spaces distinguish this compact park area from the longer hillside routes in the wider regional preserve.
Use the Alvarado entrance and current regional-park map when planning a visit. Parking-gate hours change seasonally, and the nearby Wildcat Canyon staging area is a different access point. Follow posted closures, protect historic masonry and stay on designated routes. Organized picnics and gatherings may require separate reservations.
