Minnesota Point Light survives as a ruined brick tower along Duluth’s Park Point trail.

The remains connect a walk through the sandy pine landscape with the early history of navigation at the entrance to the harbor.
The photograph shows the actual lighthouse ruin. Plan a hike using current Park Point trail information and remain outside the protective barriers. Sandy and uneven sections require suitable footwear, and the surrounding natural area has habitat-protection rules. Dogs and bicycles are restricted in the protected forest area. There is no tower climb or staffed museum, and nearby recreational facilities are separate from the ruin.
