Salina and the Dix–Vernor corridor
Salina is in Dearborn’s South End, where the City identifies Dix–Vernor as a commercial corridor with shops and places to eat. The American Moslem Society mosque is at 9945 West Vernor Highway, near Dix. Salina Street leads to the school campus and PEACE Park South, giving residents several distinct local destinations beyond the commercial intersection.
Housing-application help on Saulino Court
ACCESS lists help with housing applications and English–Arabic translation through its Social Services department. Its main office is at 2651 Saulino Court, with a service contact of 313-203-3392.

The two Salina schools use the K–8 timetable
Salina Elementary is at 2700 Ferney Street; Salina Intermediate is at 2623 Salina Street. The district’s current timetable explicitly includes both in its middle-school and K–8 schedule: 8:25 a.m.–3:20 p.m., with Tuesday early release at 1:50 p.m. The elementary campus therefore does not follow the district’s general 9 a.m. elementary start. These are school locations and published hours, not an attendance-zone assignment for a home.
PEACE Park South is open on Salina Street
PEACE Park South, at 1911 Salina Street, opened on June 3, 2026. The City lists a basketball court, a junior soccer field, two pickleball courts and a garden area. This is the South End park: PEACE Park East is on Michigan Avenue, and PEACE Park West is on West Village Drive, so the shared project name can refer to a different destination.
